STRONG BUSINESS PROGRAM OF EXHIBITIONS — STRONG INDUSTRY: WHAT AWAITS PARTICIPANTS OF MINING & METALS CENTRAL ASIA 2025 AND KAZCOMAK 2025
FROM SEPTEMBER 17 TO 19, 2025, TWO LARGE-SCALE INDUSTRY EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN ALMATY AT THE ATACENT EXHIBITION CENTER — MINING & METALS CENTRAL ASIA AND KAZCOMAK.
For 30 years, these exhibitions have rightly been considered key platforms for professionals in the mining and metallurgical industry, road and industrial construction, as well as manufacturers of specialized equipment.
This year, a record-breaking exhibition area will bring together more than 500 companies from 40 countries, showcasing modern equipment, innovative technologies, and best practices used in the exploration, extraction, and processing of minerals. Participants will be able to learn about successful cases of digital solution implementation, discuss current industry challenges, and find new avenues for cooperation.
Special attention is paid by the organizers to the business program of the exhibitions, which traditionally becomes a platform for dialogue between government structures, business, and the expert community.
On September 17, a plenary session will be held on 'Key Issues of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex: Kazakhstani Content, Investments, Technologies, Logistics, International Partnership'. The agenda includes the investment potential of Kazakhstan, digitalization and technological re-equipment of enterprises, development of Kazakhstani content, new logistics routes and supply chains, as well as international cooperation. Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, industry associations, large industrial companies, and foreign experts will participate in the discussion.
In addition, Kcell (AI Zone Partner) together with Almaty Hub will hold a Demo Day — a unique platform for startups and developers. This is a chance to directly present their solutions to industry leaders and launch pilot projects. IT solutions for quarries, mines, factories, deposits, communication system integrators, monitoring, cybersecurity, and automation will be presented. Experts from CiDRA Minerals Processing Inc (Spain), NLT EUROPE (South Africa), Epiroc, and Proftec will conduct a series of practical seminars. During which visitors will be able to learn about advanced technologies and tools that are already changing the state of the mining industry, increasing production safety and ensuring its sustainability. Special attention will be paid to the Round Table of the Kazakhstan Mining Chamber, where participants will discuss current issues of sustainable industry development.
On September 18, the business program will continue with a panel case session 'AI-Based Solutions for Modern Challenges of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex'. Representatives of government structures, the expert community, and large mining companies will participate in the discussion. The largest mining companies actively implementing digital technologies will share their experiences, and international and Kazakhstani AI developers will also participate in the session.
Throughout the second day of the exhibition, a specialized closed seminar will be held by Composit (Seminar Zone Partner). With the current topic 'Effective Solutions for Combating Abrasive Wear in Mining Enterprises', the deputy director of the company, Alexander Nevzorov, will speak. Participation in the seminar is possible by prior registration.
The program of the second day will also be complemented by the German Association Symposium, where an international approach to industrial modernization will be presented, as well as a session of project presentations by subsoil user companies, within which new developments and initiatives for the industry will be proposed.
Traditionally, the exhibitions will not only showcase the latest technologies but also serve as a place where future directions for the entire mining industry of Central Asia are determined. The program promises rich discussions, demonstrations of advanced solutions and practical cases, as well as opportunities for expanding international cooperation.
The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty city, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'Atameken', and the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises (AGMP).
