In Kazakhstan, for the first half of 2017, 112 billion KZT was spent on road construction, 80,000 people were involved in the construction.
In the current year, within the framework of the State Program “Nurly Zhol”, the implementation of 22 road projects is envisaged. Their total length is 4,400 km.
According to the "Center-South" project, the reconstruction of the section Temirtau-Karaganda with a length of 14 km continues. Also, the implementation of the section Kurty-Burylbaital with a length of 228 km has been started. From the budget funds in the III quarter, the construction and reconstruction of the Northeast bypass of Karaganda city started.
Under the project “Center – East” 675 km are being built, according to the results of the year it is planned to provide four-lane traffic for 230 km of the section Astana-Pavlodar, and also it is planned to complete the last 36 km section on the segment Semei-Kalbatau.
According to the project “Center-West”, this year the reconstruction of the highway Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan will begin and the section of the highway Beineu-Aktau will be completed.
The implementation of the previously approved projects Kapshagai - Taldykorgan, Astana - Petropavlovsk - the border of Russia and Uralsk - Kamenka continues.
In addition, new projects are being implemented: Zhetybai - Zhanaozen, Taldykorgan - Ust-Kamenogorsk, Merke - Burylbaital, Kalbatau - Maykapshagai, Usharal - Dostyk, Beineu - Akzhigit, Taskesken - Bakhty, Osinovsky pass, Schuchinsk-Zerenda with a length of 2,000 km.
According to the Minister of Investments and Development Zhenis Kassymbek, for the first half of the year, 112 billion KZT have already been disbursed for the projects being implemented and 80,000 people are involved.
“At the end of the year within the framework of the program “Nurly Zhol”, it is planned to complete 600 km in terms of the parameters of the first and second technical categories, including the completion of the reconstruction of the highways Beineu-Aktau and Almaty-Taldykorgan.
